What to do in Cuba in February 2018?

At KnowingCuba we always stay on top of local events and happenings. Here are our top picks for the month of February:

International Book Fair: Both for bookworms and for those interested in discovering new aspects of Cuban culture. You will find books by Cuban authors as well as from writers from 40 other countries, including this year´s honorary guest: China!  February 1-11 at La Fortaleza de San Carlos de La Cabaña.

International Salsa Festival: Put on your dance shoes and join dance professionals on the dance journey of your life. Dance the salsa to the rhythms of recognized orchestras. February 21-25 at various locations.

Valentine´s Day: There is nothing as romantic as spending Valentine´s Day in the tropics. Enjoy a sunset walk in El Malecon or a romantic dinner in a cozy restaurant. Then grab drinks and dance at one of our best music venues. Do I have suggestions for you? Of course I do: Paladar Vista Mar at 1st Avenue #2206 between 22th & 24th, Miramar, Playa; or perhaps you´d prefer dome city views from Café Laurent at M street #257 between 19th and 21st, Vedado.

Habanos Festival: This year we celebrate the 20th Habanos Festival. The event focuses on the making, processing and sale of cigars. Visit plantations, factories and take place in the activities Habanos S.A. has planned. February 26 - March 2.

Need event passes, reservations or accommodations for any of these events? Want us to book your dream Valentine’s date? Reach us at reservations@KnowingCuba.com and we’ll be happy to help you!
